Product labeling
CONSENT TO PRODUCT LABELING IN ACCORDANCE WITH LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
1. By purchasing blank beverage cans, the buyer acknowledges that they are not marked with individual content, ingredient, and nutritional information. In this respect, the order quantity per variety is considered as a sales unit from the seller to the buyer. The content, ingredient, and nutritional labeling of the sales unit will be made known to the buyer on the website under the "Downloads" section for the respective variety. The buyer acknowledges this as fully sufficient for his purposes upon purchasing the product.
2. Notes regarding the declaration:
a) The requirements for the minimum font size according to Art. 13 paragraphs 2 and 3 of Regulation (EU) No.1169/2011 must be observed.
b) Any sweeteners (if included) must be declared in connection with the designation.
c) Designation, quantity, and possibly alcohol content must be indicated in the same visual field.
d) The following must be considered for nutritional labeling:
- Nutritional values must be summarized in a table and listed one below the other. If the arrangement of the data is not possible due to lack of space, they may be listed one after the other.
- Nutritional values must be declared (except for vitamins and minerals) in the order given on the reverse side. Only the units listed in the table may be used.
- Nutritional labeling must be placed in a clearly visible position, in German, easily readable, and indelible. They can also be provided in another easily understandable language if this does not impair consumer information.
e) This declaration recommendation only considers potentially allergenic ingredients possibly present in the ingredients we supply, which are indicated in CAPITAL LETTERS in the list of ingredients. The buyer must independently check whether the other ingredients he uses contain substances with allergenic potential that must be declared. In general, allergenic ingredients according to Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 must be made distinguishable from other ingredients in the list of ingredients, e.g., by font, font size, bold print.
f) The declaration may change if the application is modified or additional ingredients are added.
g) We recommend coordinating the declaration once again with your responsible examination office.
3. The seller guarantees the production of the products according to the IFS standard (International Food Standard).
4. The buyer also acknowledges that for the resale of blank cans, especially for individual can sales, the cans must be labeled according to food law regulations. The seller cannot guarantee or assume liability for the legality of the labeling. This applies both to the content and compliance with the packaging regulation (deposit).
5. If the products are not declared as deposit-free by the seller, the buyer bears the responsibility for the correct deposit labeling and accounting of the products in Germany as well as for possible packaging fees abroad. In the case of deposit-liable products, the sale is for export purposes and therefore without charging a deposit to the buyer. The buyer acknowledges this upon purchasing the product.
